China invites you to give the UNSC event in February


Islamabad:

Pakistan and China have reiterated their resolution to raise bilateral ties to new heights and further solidify the strategic association, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (FO) said in a statement on Tuesday.

The development occurred when China’s ambassador Jiang Zaidong met with the Vice Prime Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Ishaq Dar, in the Federal Capital.

A day before, the FO had rejected the accusations ‘without foundation and unfounded’ aimed at Pakistan’s commitment to China’s policies, emphasizing that Beijing continued to be the ‘strategic partner for all climate’ of Islamabad.

Pakistan has maintained strong bilateral ties with China, which has extended support through numerous investments and development initiatives, including the Chinese-Pakistan economic corridor (CPEC) that has been described as a “line of life” for the economy of the economy of the nation.

During Tuesday’s meeting, Dar and Zaidong reaffirmed the strategic association of every pak-china climate, which was called a “cornerstone of bilateral relations” between the two countries, said the FO in the statement.

The progress of CPEC 2.0 was reviewed during the meeting, and both parties also expressed their commitment to further solidify their strategic association.
