Insomniac Games has just released a new cinematic trailer for Marvel’s upcoming superhero game titled ‘Ain’t No Hero’ ahead of the game’s release on September 15.
It looks amazing, but if you think fans are having a healthy discussion about how great the game looks in the comments section, you’re dead wrong.
As of this writing, the video has over 8,000 comments, and the vast majority are from fans who are not backing down in their efforts to get PlayStation to reverse its decision to phase out physical discs in 2028.
“Do you know who the hero is not? The physical killer,” reads the top comment, which has more than 12,000 likes.
“Wolverine was really getting PHYSICAL in this trailer, he has such a DIFFERENT presence,” one user said, and another wrote, “Wolverine’s precious photograph demonstrates the importance of physical media.”

Thankfully, Marvel Wolverine You’ll receive a physical copy at launch, so fans won’t have to worry about that. The only games that will be affected are titles launching in January 2028 or later, and fans are letting PlayStation know how they feel about it.
“Can’t wait for my DISC copy to arrive,” reads one comment, followed by many more of the same variety, such as “Can’t wait for my PHYSICAL COPY to arrive” and “Can’t wait for a PHYSICAL edition.”
Since sharing the announcement earlier this month, Sony has been noticeably quiet in the face of the backlash. To urge the company to reverse its decision, fans also created a petition, which now has over 326,000 signatures.
According to analysts, despite opposition from fans, the PlayStation maker will not reverse its decision because “digital is too lucrative.”
