Philadelphia Eagles star Saquon Barkley’s Pennsylvania home was burglarized early Saturday, police said.
Tredyffrin Township officers responded to Barkley’s home in the Malvern area around 5:10 a.m. They received a report of a robbery in progress.
The suspects fled before officers arrived, according to a statement obtained by Pak Gazette Digital.

Barkley and his family were not injured, according to police. Authorities did not say whether Barkley or his family members were inside the home during the raid.
Police have not announced any arrests. They have also not said what the thieves took, how they entered the home or how many people were involved.
Detectives are investigating a large white van that may have been connected to the robbery. Police released an image of the vehicle and asked the public for help identifying it.
The Tredyffrin Township Police Department said it had not received reports of similar activity anywhere else in the area. The Chester County District Attorney’s Office is assisting with the investigation.
The theft comes amid heightened concern about the possibility of thieves targeting professional athletes.

Federal prosecutors charged seven Chilean citizens in February 2025 with burglaries at the homes of NFL and NBA players. Prosecutors alleged the group targeted athletes who were away or playing. The suspects allegedly stole more than $2 million in cash, jewelry, watches and other valuables.
Barkley, 29, is preparing for his third season with Philadelphia. Eagles training camp begins July 28.
He rushed for 1,140 yards in 2025. That marked his second consecutive 1,000-yard season with the team.

Barkley produced a historic season a year earlier. He won the 2024 NFL Offensive Player of the Year award and helped Philadelphia win Super Bowl LIX. He finished with an NFL record 2,504 rushing yards during the regular season and playoffs.
The Eagles signed Barkley to a two-year extension in March 2025. He remains under contract through the 2028 season.
