Prince Harry stands firm with new update on UK security issue

Prince Harry’s recent trip to his home country was important for the relationship between the Sussexes and King Charles, but it was not without setbacks.

The Duke of Sussex had to make an urgent change to his itinerary as he was unable to secure taxpayer-funded security for his wife Meghan Markle and their two children despite having an offer of royal accommodation.

Harry had submitted an application for a RAVEC review to the UK Home Office, but reports claimed that RAVEC had not even examined the application, let alone reviewed it, in the six months it received it. The Risk Management Board meeting is expected to assess threats against them.

However, this does not end Harry’s will to continue fighting for his right and drive to protect his family.

According to the latest report from Hello!, Harry “hopes” to have more meetings of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet with their families in the United Kingdom, so he will continue to fight for security.

“It will haunt him until RAVEC agrees to enact the terms of reference that were made clear to a judge in the judicial review,” a source told the outlet. “This is about the Home Office doing what it promised in court.”

The risk assessment has been long overdue as the king’s second son has not undergone one in seven years.
