Meghan Markle’s As Ever expansion plunged into chaos after disturbing update

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had reportedly gone their separate ways when it came to their professional lives and played to their strengths.

The Duke of Sussex had taken the path of charity work and the public commitments associated with it, while the Duchess of Sussex embraced her showbiz roots and created her own lifestyle brand. Meghan has kept As Ever as her primary focus since its launch in 2025 and is working to continue growing it.

Despite parting ways with the Netflix partnership, reports claim Meghan has plans for a major expansion as she “stocks up” to meet the influx of demands. There is already speculation about the financial situation of the Sussexes when they suffered a serious blow.

Harry, who had sued the DailyMail publication, along with six other plaintiffs, for illegal information collection, lost the legal battle and racked up an exorbitant legal bill. Although Meghan was not involved, she and her company would feel the impact, according to sources.

King Charles’ youngest son has to find enough funds to pay the bill and “the most likely scenario is that he will have to find his own way to come up with the cash through a more traditional loan,” a source told Closer.

They added that this will “throw all of his and Meghan’s plans into total chaos.”

“Their brand expansion will almost certainly have to be greatly delayed, if not put on hold entirely,” the source added. “There has been a lot of talk that they are looking to buy more properties and that will be difficult, if not impossible.”

Meghan doesn’t even want to consider putting her Montecito mansion at risk, as moving now would be “devastating.” Although Harry is assuring his wife not to worry, that’s easier said than done.
