“There’s more where that came from” can be a threat of further punishment or a promise of more enjoyment, depending on the circumstances.
However, this line of thinking got me nowhere and it wasn’t until a clue gave me EXTRA that I understood that we were looking for words that were synonyms for “supplementary”, meaning there is more where that came from whether you need it or not.
I have a friend who runs a company called EXCESS, so not seeing it was embarrassing, while the spangram also escaped me. It’s not my best game.
