Buckingham Palace issued a major update on King Charles following Meghan Markle’s bold move, sparking a new conversation.
The royal family’s official Instagram page has posted a series of photographs from the Glasgow 2026 opening ceremony.
Images showed the monarch, Queen Camilla and Prince Edward enjoying the event.
The statement read: “An incredible evening in Glasgow!
“The King and Queen, along with the Duke of Edinburgh, attended the @Glasgow_2026 Opening Ceremony ahead of 11 days of sport in which more than 3,000 athletes from 74 nations and territories will compete in 10 sports and six Para sports.
“Good luck to everyone and thank you for such a happy start to the Games.”
This post came after Meghan Markle gave fans a rare glimpse of her and Prince Harry’s trip to the United Kingdom.
One photo, featuring Harry, Archie and Lilibet, was apparently taken at Arthrop, Princess Diana’s childhood home.
It has been said that the Duchess of Sussex has been sending this message that she cannot be ‘controlled’ after reports revealed that King Charles put forward strict conditions for a future reconciliation.
