A man was arrested by Lahore police after a video that showed him by participating in inappropriate behavior with women.
CCTV images clearly represent the suspect, Allah Rakha, making inappropriate gestures towards a woman before fleeing the scene.
According to the reports, the suspect was arrested by the Gulberg police at night after the authorities used CCTV images to track him.
The arrest took place near the Liberty market, where he was arrested.
The Lahore police confirmed that, under the orders of SP Model Town, a case was recorded and quick measures were taken to stop the defendant.
The incident occurred two days ago in Ghalib Road, where the suspect harassed a woman on her way home from work during the night.
CCTV images showed Allah Rakha performing the inappropriate act and fleeing immediately later.
SP Model Town, Ikhlaq Ullah Tarar, declared that under the policy of Punjab Prime Minister, Maryam Nawaz, “Never Again”, clear instructions have been issued.
He emphasized that those who exploit women in any way will not be shown any clemency.
The arrest sends a strong message about the authorities’ commitment to guarantee the safety of women in the city.
