  • Nearly $7 Billion in Existing Oracle Licenses Consolidated into Single Contract Vehicle
  • The contract is expected to generate $441 million in savings by unifying technology purchases.

The US Department of War (DoW) has awarded Oracle a nearly $7 billion contract as part of the Arsenal of Freedom to provide the Department with software and enterprise services.

The contract is one of the largest enterprise software agreements (ESAs) ever issued by the Department and is the first direct award contract. It is expected to generate at least $441 million in savings by “consolidating single, fragmented information technology purchases into a unified, single-award contract.”
