Fans of Disturbing Adelina I have something new to look forward to.
Author HD Carlton announced that her best-selling dark romance series will have graphic novel versions, giving readers a new way to experience the hit story.
Carlton is working with Deviant Ink Publishing to convert Disturbing Adelina and its sequel, Hunting Adeline in illustrated graphic novels.
The first book is expected to arrive in late 2026, with illustrations by illustrator JB Roe.
The author, however, said that she had long wanted to see the characters come to life through art.
She also shared that she has been closely involved in the project to ensure that it stays faithful to the original books.
The announcement came just after Carlton defended the upcoming Disturbing Adelina film, which has faced criticism due to the novel’s dark themes.
In a recent Instagram video, he said that fiction should not be censored and confirmed that the film is still going ahead.
Released in 2021, Disturbing Adelina became one of BookTok’s biggest success stories.
At the same time, it also generated debate for its mature and disturbing themes.
