Meghan Markle has received a charming update that may pave the way for her to regain Britain’s trust and take her place back in the royal family, despite years of feud.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex met with King Charles along with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, after drama surrounding security and accommodation.
A royal commentator shed light on how the Sussexes, especially Meghan, have returned to the good books of the royals and people of the United Kingdom, especially amid talk of their return to “royal duties.”
in conversation with ISSimon Vigar, author of The Four Wives of Windsor: The Inside Story of the Power Behind the Crown, cited Camilla’s example of how she regained the public’s trust after her controversial image due to the “other woman” in King Charles and Princess Diana’s marriage.
“Well, never say never. Camilla’s transformation is incredible. I remember how hated she and Charles were,” he shared.
Simon explained: “Going from that, even in the space of 1997, when Diana died, and then having her first public appearance with Charles in 1999, so that was just two years later, and then five years after they got married.
“So to go from that in eight years is absolutely incredible; anything is possible.”
Meghan could also follow Camilla’s example, but first she has to make peace with the royal family.
However, arranging peace talks with the Prince and Princess of Wales is not on the cards at the moment, but never say never.
