According to the details, the president of the city of Bahria received the email on January 12, which contains death threats for him and his family if he does not pay 50 bits coins that value around RS1,42 billion.
The executive president of Bahria Town, Khalilur Rehman, submitted a request at the Ampara Police Station to submit a case. He informed the police that the president of the city of Bahria, Malik Riaz, received an email, demanding RS50 bit coins as extortion.
The sender threatened to kill Malik Riaz and his family if the amount was not paid.
After email, a suspicious individual was seen on a motorcycle outside the residence of Malik Riaz’s daughter on January 27 at 11:15 am Malik Riaz also lives in the same house.
The suspicion of the person continued to recite and clicking on photos of the house. The incident fueled fear and tension.
