When Canadian and American teams face each other, it is common for national hymns of both countries to play or perform.
That was the case in Canadian Tire Center in Ottawa, when Minnesota Wild visited the senators for a NHL fight.
The anthem of the visiting team is usually done first, as was the case on Saturday night.

But, before the local crowd listened to its own anthem, they let boots at the end of “The Star-Spangled Banner”.
The game came the same day as President Donald Trump signed an executive order, which will enter into force on Tuesday, which consists of a 25% additional rate in imports from Canada and Mexico and a 10% rate on China imports.
Canada’s energy resources will have a lower 10%rate, according to the White House. In a statement obtained by Pak Gazette on Saturday, the Trump administration said the order is in response to an “extraordinary threat raised by foreigners and illegal drugs, including mortal fentanyl, (which) constitutes a national emergency.”
Before Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announcing his resignation, Trump said he would “love” if Canada could become the “state 51”.

In their four -game home that ended after their victory on TK, the senators organized all US teams: there are seven Canadian teams in the National Hockey League and 25 teams based in the United States.
The senators will begin an American road trip of four games against the predators of Nashville, Tampa Bay Lightning (two games) and Florida Panthers before returning home on February 22 to receive the Montreal Canadiens.
