Jesse Eisenberg is nominated for the Academy Awards for the second time, this time to the best original script for A real pain, who wrote, directed and starred.
During an interview with CBS newsHe was asked about his reaction to Oscar’s assent.
“Can you enjoy moments like this?” The interviewee asked. “No, I’m not really connected to enjoy praise.”
“I don’t know why. I think, as, I don’t know, it triggers a guilt response in my brain, and I try to find something to be miserable.”
“But I will tell you what I love: I love doing my job. As I feel very lucky to have found something that I like to do,” he continued.
Jesse previously received an assent from Oscar for The social network. In a previous interview, the actor recalled an incident in which he was forbidden to meet the character he was interpreting: Mark Zuckerberg.
