PM Juvenile Loan Program to offer financial help for laptops

A government official announced that the Prime Minister’s youth loan scheme has expanded to provide financial assistance for commercial companies and portable computers purchases.

The decision was revealed by Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, a special assistant to the Prime Minister of Youth Affairs, who declared that the State Bank of Pakistan has issued an official notification about the scheme.

According to the announcement, students between 18 and 30 currently enrolled in the Higher Education Commission (HEC)-)-The approved institutions will be eligible to request loans for laptops.

In addition, the scheme has spread to support young people looking for employment abroad. Under this initiative, those who plan to work abroad can receive up to RS1 million on loans to cover training, visa and trips expenses.

Rana Mashhood emphasized that the government is committed to creating more opportunities for young people. He pointed out that more than 186 billion loans have already been disbursed under the youth loans of the Prime Minister to empower young people throughout the country.

A few weeks ago, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directed an increase in the amount of the loan under the Youth Program of RS 500,000 to RS 1.5 million.

Today a review meeting on small and medium enterprises in Islamabad was held, chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, during which the prime minister instructed a detailed survey that was completed soon to facilitate the companies.

During the meeting, the prime minister emphasized the alignment of the facilities provided to small and medium enterprises with international standards through the implementation of models of developed countries.

He also directed that a special package for women entrepreneurs in small -scale businesses is prepared and presented soon.

The prime minister said that small and medium enterprises (SME) are key to global economic development. The government is committed to encouraging SMEs to promote business spirit within Pakistan’s workforce.

Shehbaz Sharif stressed that the Government is working to empower young people and women businesswomen to create self -filled and generate more job opportunities.
