Two men who believed that they had links with a series of robberies in the United States, even in the house of a famous professional athlete in Ohio, were arrested on Tuesday, the authorities announced.
Dimitriy Nezhinskiy and Juan Villar were accused of “conspiracy to receive stolen property related to their purchase of stolen goods that traveled through the state lines,” said the Eastern District of New York in a press release. The two men will be fixed on Wednesday.

Nezhinskiy, from North Bergen, New Jersey and Villar, of Queens, New York, were accused of acting as “fences” for the groups of headquarters in South America that traveled through the United States to commit robberies aimed at luxury articles. The two were accused of being linked to the “prolific thief” Bryan Leandro Herrera Maldonado, whom the authorities said they committed 16 robberies in the United States between 2019 and 2020.
The authorities said Nezhinskiy was linked to at least two members of a crew that were supposedly involved in December 9, 2024, theft of a “high -profile athlete in Ohio.” The sources told Pak Gazette Channel that the athlete in question is the Mariscal de Campo Estrella de los Cincinnati Bengals, Joe Burrow.
The officials responsible for enforcing the law executed a search warrant for a pawn house that the two men allegedly operated in the Diamond district of New York City. The authorities “confiscated large amounts of stolen property suspicion, including dozens of high -end watches and jewels. The police also recovered large amounts of cash and marijuana,” authorities said.

Another search warrant was executed in a storage installation in New Jersey allegedly belonging to Nezhinskiy. The authorities said “large amounts of luxury products and clothing, including high -end bags, wine, sports memories, jewels, works of art and consistent electric tools that are commonly used in robberies and opening safes.”
Nezhinskiy was arrested in New Jersey, and Villar was arrested in New York, authorities said.
The arrests occurred weeks after four Chilean nationals were arrested in relation to the theft of Burrow’s house on December 9, 2024. At the time of the arrest, the authorities found “an old hat of Lsu shirt and Bengals, which It is believed that it is stolen from December.
The search for the vehicle in which the suspects were also discovered “two automatic central drilling tools wrapped in a cloth towel.” The tool has been used by the South American robbery group, according to the authorities.

Burrow discussed the robbery a few days after its occurrence during an availability of media, where it emphasized the difficulty of living a life in which your personal information is in view of the public.
