The Chief of Army Personnel (COAS), General Syed also Munir, visited the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Muzampharabad on Wednesday, where he paid tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs.
During the visit, the general also said that any act of aggression would be fulfilled with a strong response and reiterated the unwavering commitment of the Pakistan’s army to defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the nation.
Upon arriving at the Jammu and Kashmira monument, he placed a crown of flowers in the monument of the martyrs, honoring the incomparable sacrifices of shuhada, as indicated in a Press statement from ISPR.

During their visit, Coa praised unwavering dedication, professional excellence and the preparation for the fight of officers and soldiers parked in Kashmir.
Later, COAs were involved with prominent local and veterans of Kashmiro, reaffirming Pakistan’s firm support for the people of illegally occupied India Jammu & Cashmira (Iiojk).
He condemned the Indian atrocities and the emergence of the extremism of Hindutva, stating that these actions only strengthen the resolution of the people of Kashmir in their struggle for self -determination.
The COA said that Pakistan would always support them in their fair struggle against repression sponsored by the State.
He concluded stating: “Without a doubt, Kashmir will one day be free and a part of Pakistan, according to the will and fate of the people of Kashmir.”
Upon arrival, the commander of the Rawalpindi body received the Coas of the Rawalpindi’s body.
