The president of the Pakistan Muslim League (PML -N) and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif expressed optimism about Pakistan’s economic recovery during a meeting with members of the Punjab Assembly in Gujranwala, Narowal and Sialkot.
Nawaz Sharif highlighted the positive changes in progress in the country’s economy, particularly pointing to a slowdown in inflation and an increase in the stock market, which he demonstrated increasing confidence between business and investor communities, said Express News.
“Recent improvements in the Stock Exchange reflect the confidence of the business community in the future of Pakistan,” he said.
Sharif also mentioned that the gradual recovery of the nation of an economic fall was a sign of hope. “Seeing the economy stabilized after being driven in Declive is a positive change for the country,” he said.
Praising the efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Nawaz Sharif acknowledged that the hard work of the government was paying off. “Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has worked diligently at the federal level, and is producing positive results for Pakistan,” he added.
He also praised the Prime Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, for his leadership, saying that his efforts to improve public services and infrastructure were helping to raise the province. “Maryam Nawaz has shown immense dedication to the development of Punjab, embodying a spirit of service as a mother and daughter,” he said.
During the meeting, the members of the Assembly expressed their admiration for the progress made under the leadership of Maryam Nawaz, highlighting the implementation of several development programs such as the ‘DHEE RANI Program’ and the update of rural health services.
The members of the Assembly praised Maryam Nawaz for their efforts to raise each segment of society and transform the socioeconomic panorama of Punjab.
Maryam Nawaz responded with gratitude to the members, recognizing that their trust and guidance were an integral part of their success. “I have my father’s responsibility, Nawaz Sharif, and my mentor, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and work to fulfill our vision of the country’s prosperity,” he said.
Nawaz Sharif concluded by emphasizing that the public service history and commitment of the PML-N would continue with national growth. “The trust and faith of people in us feed our determination to work for the brightest future of Pakistan,” he said.
The meeting was attended by PML-N senior, including Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Senator Pervez Rashid, Rana Sanaullah, principal minister Marium Aurengzeb and Rashid Nasrullah, who joined the conversation about the continuous development of Pakistan.
