Ravens GM’s wife will hit Trump’s executive order on women’s sports, spars with the team employee

Lacie Decosta, the wife of the general manager of the Baltimore Ravens, Eric Decosta, expressed support for the executive order of President Donald Trump that protects the sports of women and girls on Wednesday.

Trump signed the order in the east room of the White House in national girls and women on Sports Day. Lacie Decosta declared in an X publication: “It’s a great day for women’s sports.”

The editorial director of the Ravens, Ryan Mink, published in response: “Trans women are women.” Decosta made it clear that the problem was about “justice.”

“Ryan Mink we don’t have to agree. I have practiced sports all my life,” he added. “I was an American Lacrosse player. Many girls do not see this as a trans problem but as an equity problem. I will always fight justice when it comes to girls in sports.”

The order granted federal agencies the power to ensure that entities that receive federal funds comply with the original standards of Title IX.

“This does not have to be long. This is common sense,” Trump said before signing the order, adding that “women’s sports will be only for women.”

Trump declared: “The war against women’s sports is over.”

Riley Gaines: The total war against athletes ends now, thanks to President Trump

Trump joined the east room of the White House in Washington, DC, for independent ambassadors Riley Gaines, Payton McNabb, Paula Scanlan, Sia Liilii, Lauren Miller, Kim Russell, Kaitlyn Wheeler, Linnea Saltz and Lily Mullens.

Gaines, organized by the Podcast “Gaines for Girls” of Outkick, was among the champions of justice in women’s sports after sharing his experience in the 2022 NCAA championship with Lia Thomas.

The White House Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, said in an informative session before Trump signed the executive order that “maintains the promise of title IX.”

“President Trump promised to restore common sense to our country, and he continues to comply with an executive order that will sign later today,” he added. “The President will sign an executive order, will keep men outside women’s sports to defend the security of athletes, protect competitive integrity and maintain the promise of title IX.

“This action of common sense of President Trump ends the disgusting betrayal of women and girls by the previous administration, who for years attended radical activists who wanted biological men to be treated as women in workplace, showers, showers, showers, competitive sports, prisons and even violation shelters.
