Perry turned around, took a dribbling and launched a prayer from approximately 70 feet.

Pandemonium occurred when Perry was harassed by teammates and fans who broke into the court.
Perry was elevated to the air on the top of his teammates, while the referees tried to restore the order of the place, frantically blowing their whistles.
It was an appropriate ending for a game that was tied 11 times different with 10 leadership changes, since it was back and forth throughout the night among the rivals of the Atlantic Atlantic Conference.

Perry only played 19 minutes in the 59-56 victory of the Stags, but led the team in annotations with 19 points in 6-14 shots. He was the only Fairfield player who was in double figures in annotations.
Jamie Bergens and the prophet Johnson had nine points in the victory, while Peyton Smith added eight own points for Fairfield.
For Marist, Josh Pascarelli and Jadin Collins-Roberts lead the way. Pascalli scored 15 points in 6-13 shots, while Collins-Roberts added 10 points in the defeat for the Red Foxes.
Perry’s miraculous game winner gave Marist only his second defeat in Maac’s game, and his fourth defeat in general in the season.
Marist fell to 16-4 (9-2 at Maac) with the heartbreaking defeat against Fairfield and will seek to recover against Iona on Saturday at 7 pm et.
Fairfield improved 9-14 (5-7 at Maac) and will seek to carry their impulse when they receive Sacred Heart, a rival of the city at 7 pm on Saturday.
