Oscar -winning actor Ke Huy Quan has revealed a moving tradition with Steven Spielberg.
In an interview on Radio Andy, the actor shared that the legendary director sent him Christmas gifts for 40 years.
He said: “Every year, when the holiday season arrives, he always received that call from his assistant. [They’d say]’What is the best postal address?’ “
Spielberg, who directed Quan in iconic films such as Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) and co -written The Goonies (1985), has never forgotten.
Quan explained the type of gifts from Spielberg: “It is quite surprising because sometimes he said:” Aw, [there’s] This new gadget that has just left. And I would really, I would like to buy it. Indeed, it is really crazy to think about it, so that present, that gift would come. And it would be exactly what I want. It has happened several times. “
Previously, the actor praised Steven Spielberg in an interview with The Guardian. “He gave me my first job and, many years later, he hasn’t forgotten. Every time I needed, he’s always there,” said Ke Huy Quan.
