However, I am not completely sold in the new configuration. First, the stick vacuum binds to the back of the spring, which means that it cannot place the flush from the dock to the wall. This is perhaps to make sure that the bot can find its way back (you must place the dock with a clear space in front and the sides), but it means that it now has to have its spring sitting from the wall and removing more space in The room, if you want to accidentally avoid the stick vacuum through the wall while coupling it.
Nor am I convinced that you would be saving space compared to having a wireless vacuum spring mounted on the separate wall, the type you get with most Dyson vacuum cleaners. Of course, the two docks would be at separate points, but they would accumulate much more space than this combined effort.
If you ask why I am looking at space here, remember that the complete USP of Switchbot Robovac is that it is small. With a capacity of three liters, the cup of hidden dust on the dock is at least large enough to cope with a decent volume of dust, although it has lost a part of capacity compared to the standard K10+ Pro four liters.
