President Rece Tayyip Erdogan of Türkiye will arrive in Pakistan tomorrow for a two -day visit by invitation from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Accompanied by a high -level delegation, which includes key ministers, senior officials and corporate leaders, the visit of President Erdogan aims to deepen the long data bilateral ties between the two nations.

During the visit, Prime Minister Sharif and President Erdogan will co-deputy the seventh session of the High Level Strategic Cooperation Council of Pakistan-Turkey (HLSCC). The session is expected to conclude with a joint statement and the signing of several important agreements and memorandums of understanding (MOU).

In addition, the two leaders will hold a joint press conference, and President Erdogan will participate in bilateral meetings with Prime Minister Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari. Erdogan will also go to the Pakistan-Turkey Business and Investment Forum, where outstanding investors and business leaders on both sides will discuss greater strengthening of economic ties.

The HLSCC, the highest decision -making forum between Pakistan and Turkey, covers a wide range of sectors, including trade, investment, energy, defense, agriculture, tourism and education. Until now, six sessions of the Council have been held, and the most recent takes place in Islamabad in February 2020. The next visit and discussions are expected to generate improved cooperation and a stronger association between the two countries.
