Shibli Faraz de PTI suggests the formation of the opposition coalition

The main leader and senator of Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI), Shibli Faraz, has declared that his party will continue his political struggle for judicial appointments and hinted at the formation of a new alliance between the opposition parties, Express News reported.

Speaking to the media outside the Superior Court of Peshawar on Tuesday, Faraz declared that a country cannot function without justice. “When there is no justice, the public loses faith in court,” he said.

He criticized the current judicial appointment process, claiming that it is evident that the judges are being designated based on favoritism. “The way in which the judges are being appointed clearly indicates that their loyalty meets those in power,” he added.

In addition, he declared that if the institutions responsible for delivering justice weaken, the public feels insecure and, under such conditions, national progress and prosperity cannot be achieved.

Faraz also reaffirmed that PTI would continue his political struggle on the issue of judicial appointments, and that an opposition alliance would soon be formed. “Without justice, a country cannot advance,” he concluded.
