The open receiver of the Cincinnati Bengals star, Tee Higgins, would love to return in free agency, but knows that it is not under its control.

“I mean, I would obviously love to be there in Cincinnati. I love it here. I love the city. I love fans. I love the coaching staff, everything in the building. But, hey, it is not in my control.” Higgins said through Fox19 Cincinncati.

Higgins is one of the many key players that the Bengals have a free agency, and it is not guaranteed that they will make a strong offer to retain their second round of 2020.

The defensive Tackle BJ Hill, corner Mike Hilton and the closed wing Mike Gesicki are among the central group of players who arrive at the free agency.

In addition, Chase and Star Edge corridor, Trey Hendrickson, look for large extensions of contracts.

Higgins said it will take a while before deciding his future.

“I am just trying to stay away from that at this time and clarify my head, get away from the game, especially after this, then (the Super Bowl). Clear my head, close the game for a few weeks, and then, obviously, in March, is when things will begin to increase for me with the free agency that comes, “Higgins said.

Higgins will be very sought after in free agency. Despite being the second violin to pursue in Cincinnati, it has demonstrated its ability to be the number 1 receiver in the offensive of any team.

The 4 -inch receiver has dealt with injury problems, losing five games in each of the last two seasons, but has been very productive when it is in the field.

Higgins caught 73 passes for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns last season.

Through his five -year career, Higgins has caught 330 passes for 4,595 yards and 34 touchdowns.

The Bengals finished 9-8 this season, simply losing the playoffs after suffering heartbreaking defeats at the beginning of the season.

Retaining Higgins, among other key players, would contribute largely to ensure that the Bengals remain in the containment of playoffs in the coming years.
