NYT Connections Today (game #612) – The answers
The responses to today’s connections, game #612, are …
- Yellow: Property documents Certificate, writing, receipt, title
- Green: Bits in a variety program Dance, monologue, sketch, song
- Blue: props for characters in “The Simpsons” Donut, pacifier, saxophone, skateboard
- Purple: Starting with “Shake, ratch and roll” Android, rattlesnake, rollerblade, Shakespeare
- My qualification: Hard
- My score: 2 errors
The appearance of the words Skateboard and Rollerblade led me to a mental deviation, thinking that four of the words described the skating tricks. Donut must be a trick, I thought, and the rattle snake seems to be also, and the saxophone could be going through a pipe or something. It is possible that I can say that my skating knowledge is zero.
Meditating in the word Donut finally took me to the last two groups. Think of donuts for enough time and it is difficult not to think about Homer Simpson and his love for a pink enameled ring. The other three accessories appear in the still brilliant opening titles.
Meanwhile, starting with “Shake, Rattle and Roll” was a beautiful piece of word deception. Well done, connections, and for all those who obtained that at the three higher levels.
How did you do it today? Avise me in the comments below.

What are NYT connections?
Nyt Connections is one of the several increasingly popular words games made by the New York Times. It challenges him to find groups of four elements that share something in common, and each group has a different level of difficulty: green is easy, yellow a little harder, blue often quite hard and purple generally very difficult.
On the positive side, he technically does not need to solve the end, since he can answer it for an elimination process. In addition, you can make up to four mistakes, which gives you some space to breathe.
However, it is a bit more involved than something like Wordle, and there are many opportunities for the game to move you with tricks. For example, be careful with homophones and other words games that could disguise the answers.
It is playable for free through the Nyt Games site in desktop or mobile.
