PTI’s leadership has decided to revoke Marwat’s basic membership after complaints from superior leaders regarding their behavior in a recent rally on Swabi.
According to the reports, Imran Khan instructed the key figures of the matches to proceed with the expulsion of Marwat, and a formal notification is expected soon. In addition, the party will require its resignation to the National Assembly.
The decision follows internal dissatisfaction with Marwat’s actions during Swabi’s meeting, which caused multiple complaints to Imran Khan of the party members.
PTI is expected to make an official announcement about expulsion soon.
Last month, PTI had issued a notice of show cause to Sher Afzal Marwat for violating the discipline of the party.
In a notice, PTI’s leadership rebuked the party leader Sher Afzal Marwat, known for his burning oratory, for making statements contrary to the official position of the party.
In addition, Marwat was forbidden to represent the part in the media until he presented an answer to the exhibition cause. The cause of the show was issued by the additional secretary of PTI, Fordous Shamim Naqvi.
The notification, issued under the direction of the president of PTI, Imran Khan, declared that Sher Afzal Marwat had previously violated the policy of the party and made statements without careful consideration. They have given him seven days to present his answer.
