The Steelers player makes it clear that he wants Aaron Rodgers to stay away from Pittsburgh


The imminent departure of Aaron Rodgers from the New York Jets has its future in the NFL in the air.

Rodgers played his best football in the section of the 2024 season, but New York only won five games when he returned from a torn injury to Achilles. Fox Sports reported on Sunday that the jets told Rodgers that they would go from him, be it an absolute trade or cut.

There would only be some teams where Rodgers could go realistically and start. The Pittsburgh Steelers are among the handful of teams that will have to make a decision with their field Mariscal situation: do they bring Russell Wilson or Justin Fields back or direct their attention to the market of free agents and chase someone like Rodgers?

Elliott responded to an Instagram post that said Rodgers was a favorite of bets to land in Pittsburgh.

“Leave his A- at the Retiro House,” he wrote before he apparently eliminate it.

The NFL world was made sure to capture the comment before he left.

Rodgers has not said in one way or another that will play one more season. He will turn 42 next December.

The 10 times PRO Bowler had 3,897 aerial yards, 28 TouchDown passes and 11 interceptions in its full season with the jets.

He has not launched at least 4,000 yards since the 2021 season with the Green Bay Packers.
