- Workers must also be qualified to make the most of AI
The rapid development pace could be the most important thing we have to worry about when it comes to artificial intelligence, according to new research.
A report of the NTT data indicated how governance, security and preparation of the workforce could be lagging behind, despite the fact that the adoption and investments of AI continue to increase.
In fact, four out of five (80%) executives agree that leadership and governance cannot follow the rhythm of AI advances.
Ai is developing too fast
Eight out of 10 (80%) business leaders are already concerned by unclear regulations that prevent them from climbing generative initiatives of AI, with an additional 89% surveyed by the safety risks of AI. That said, less than a quarter (24%) of organizations have a strong government framework, and almost three quarters (72%) do not have a policy of use of Genai.
Nor is it just policies, because many business leaders believe that their workers may not be ready for the adoption of large -scale AI. Two out of three (67%) executives concern their workers lack the appropriate skills.
In addition, three out of four (75%) leaders say that their ambitions in conflict with corporate sustainability objectives, forcing them to rethink their strategies completely.
“The enthusiasm for AI is undeniable, but our findings show that innovation without responsibility is a risk multiplier,” said NTT Data CEO, Abhijit Dubey.
Looking towards the future, NTT data is asking that AI and generative models are constructed responsible from scratch, integrating security, compliance and transparency in their nuclei.
The report also highlights the need for ethical guidance and governance to cover social elements, not only legal requirements, as well as employee improvement.
Dubey concluded: “The business community must act now. By integrating responsibility into the Base of AI, through design, governance, the preparation of the workforce and ethical frameworks, we unlock the maximum potential of AI while ensuring that it serves companies, employees and employees and society in general “.
