New York Jets have made it official: they intend to move from Aaron Rodgers.
The team issued a statement on Thursday that they are advancing without four times MVP.
“Last week we met with Aaron and shared that our intention was to move in a different direction in the field marshal,” said chief coach Aaron Glenn and General Manager Darren Mougegy in a statement issued by the team.

“It was important to have this discussion now to provide clarity and allow each of us the right time to plan for our respective future. We want to thank you for the leadership, passion and dedication it brought to the organization and wishes that success moves forward.”
Rodgers spent two seasons with the team, but suffered a torn Achilles, only four photos in his first game in his mandate of Jets.
Upon returning from the injury that ends the season in 2024, Rodgers’ Jets had 5-12 and fired coach Robert Saleh and General Manager Joe Douglas during the season.
Rodgers launched for 3,987 yards and 28 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 17 games for jets last season.
“Personally I want to thank Aaron for his time at the New York Jets,” said Woody Johnson owner in the statement.
“His arrival in 2023 found an unbridled emotion and I will always be grateful to choose to join us to continue his career in the Hall of Fame. From the first day, he embodied everything that meant being a New York plane, he hugged To our fans.
