Rawalpindi:
A day after Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) of the National Assembly, Sher Afzal Marwat, was expelled from the party, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Prime Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, took a step forward in his defense. Gandapur urged the founder of the party to reconsider the decision and restore Marwat’s membership.
In this sense, the CM of KP met with Imran Khan on Thursday in the conference room of the Adiala prison. During their discussion, they addressed several political and party issues, the situation of the law and order in KP, the ongoing development projects and the recent rally in Swabi.
According to the sources, Gandapur specifically expressed concerns about Marwat’s expulsion, asking the founder of the party to review the decision.
On Wednesday, The Express News reported that Imran Khan had ordered PTI’s leadership to eliminate Marwat from the party. His membership was revoked after the complaints of high -level leaders about their behavior in the Swabi rally.
