The Interior Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmira (AJK), Waqar Ahmad Noor, accused India of smuggling weapons and drugs in the control line (LOC) and the orchestration sabotage activities in the region using improvised explosive devices (FDI).
Aiming at a press conference in Muzaffrabad, Noor declared that India’s military and intelligence agencies were involved in the destabilization of the region through subversive activities, said Express News.
He revealed that since 2016, 54 FDA incidents have been planted throughout the LOC, with a growing number of such activities in recent years.
Noor provided specific details of the Indian FDIs who were discovered and detonated in multiple places, including Chakothi, Nezapir, Chirikot, Rakh Chakri and Deva.
The number of these incidents has increased in areas such as Battal and Kot Kotera, resulting in civilian casualties.
“The long -standing sabotage activities of India throughout the LOC have intensified, with FDI, weapons and smuggling drugs through sectors such as Bagh, Battal and Deva,” said Noor.
According to the minister, four Indian FDIs were recovered between February 4 and 6 in the battles and Rawalakot sector. He also mentioned that the Indian forces violated the fire on February 12 in the Deva and Bagsar sectors.
The minister also accused India of using military channels to smuggle drugs and weapons through the border, with supplies of weapons that reach the Indian border units through double agents.
According to Noor, the Indian army eliminates these agents falsely presenting them as Pakistani and making false meetings.
He added that Pakistan has provided evidence of the subversive activities of India to the United Nations.
Noor emphasized that the shots not caused by India in innocent civilians and their destabilizing activities throughout the LOC have a long history, and India should not forget that Pakistan has all the ability to respond strongly. He warned that India’s malicious activities could represent a threat to regional security.
Security sources also reported that two Pakistani soldiers were injured during high fire violations by the Indian forces in the Bagsar and Deva sectors on February 12.
