The new iPhone 17 Pro rumor predicts a strange new camera bar design, but we are far from being convinced

  • A new rumor suggests that the iPhone 17 PRO could have a very different design than the majority of the leaks so far have suggested
  • However, the source has a mixed history, and we are not convinced
  • We have also heard again that the iPhone 17 Pro Max could have a dynamic island smaller than its predecessor

One thing that most of the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max leaks seem to agree is that the design will change, with several sources that suggest that the phone will have a pixel -shaped camera bar and a part rear of two tones. Now, however, another possible design has emerged.

In its YouTube technological program, Jon Prosser, a filter with a mixed history, has shown an iPhone 17 pro strange -looking camera design, with the lenses arranged in the same triangular pattern, which on the iPhone 16 Pro, but there are Almisted on a large black camera island, with empty space in the middle and the flash on the right. You can see how this looks below.

It is a strange and possibly ugly design, and one that does not match the previous design leaks of the iPhone 17 series, although there are some similarities. Both the previous and previous leaks showed a camera bar with the full width of the phone, but the bar was much narrower in previous leaks, which means that the lenses would have had to run horizontally along it.

We would say that the previous leaks look better, but as Prosser points out in the video, they come with a problem, since having horizontally arranged lenses along the bar could get in the path of the ID components of the phone’s face. Then he believes that for Apple to have a horizontal chamber bar, or it would have to be lodged below at the bottom of the phone, or be more like the one that is showing here.
