The Department of Meteorology of Pakistan has predicted rain in Punjab, including Lahore, as of February 19.

Previously, it was reported that the cold weather had pressed its control over Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa with several districts receiving rain, and some higher regions recorded up to 17 inches of snowfall.

According to the Department of Meteorology, the rain and snowfall are expected to persist in the districts of Dir, Swat, Shangla, Buner, Kohistan, Battagram, Mansehra, Khyber and Kurram.

The rain was recorded in Chitral, Kohistan, Bajaur, Dir and Swat, while the snowfall covered the mountainous areas of Chitral and Swat.

With more rain and snowfall in the next few days, the authorities have advised residents in the affected areas that take the necessary precautions.

Murree will be the coldest location, with temperatures falling at -2 ° C at night. The humidity level at the hill station is 57%. Meanwhile, the main urban centers, including Lahore, Faisalabad and fine, will see minimum temperatures between 8 ° C and 11 ° C.
