Rumors around the folding iPhone do not stop, and the last filtration gives us an idea of the sizes of the screens that the phone will wear, both the main screen and the external cover screen.
This advice is from the series digital chat station (through Android Authority), a source in which it can generally be trusted. Apparently, we are ready to obtain an internal screen of 7.74 inches and a 5.49 -inch outdoor screen when the folding iPhone finally appears.

Then there is Google: as our Google Pixel 9 Pro review will tell you, it comes with an 8 -inch internal screen and an exterior screen of 6.3 inches. If this leak is precise, both screens on the folding iPhone will be smaller.

This filtration would suggest that Apple is working on a folding book, instead of a Flip style folding (see our Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 review to obtain an example). This also sounds more like a folding iPhone than a folding iPad.
Of course, if the folding iPhone has a smaller screen than its rivals, that is not necessarily a disadvantage: it means that the headset will be more compact when closing and occupies less space in a pocket or bag.
Rumors have so far indicated 2026 as the year in which Apple will make this folding iPhone public and available for the masses. With Apple’s record, it is likely to become one of the best folding in the market as soon as it is thrown.
It is said that Apple began seriously when developing the phone last November, but given the complexity of a device like this, next year it would be a good bet for the folding iPhone that appears, and we can expect more leaks and rumors in the meantime .
