Spurs teammates Victor Wembanyama, Chris Paul disqualified from the NBA All-Star Game Skills Challenge


The protagonists of the San Antonio Spurs, Victor Wembanyama and Chris Paul, were disqualified from the stars games festivities on Saturday night after they found a lagoon in the skill competition.

The couple was in the field for competition in which players go through a series of challenges, which include bouncing passes, chest passes, shooting from three different places on the floor and dribling.

When they arrived at the shot, Wembanyama and Paul have just launched the ball towards the edge in a tactic that saves time.

It didn’t fly.

Golden State Warriors star, Draymond Green, later said that Wembanyama was asking others if his plan made sense. Green competed with his teammate Moses Moody.

“It definitely struggled to see them throw the ball like this,” Green said. “But what I will say is that Wemby walked on the court asking everyone:” Do one or three attempts? “And Wemby said: ‘Oh, can I get them there?’ Then, he asked now, he may not have asked the right people.

Cleveland Cavaliers is starring Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley won the event.

Mobley said he had an idea similar to that of the Wembanyama Time Saving Plan. But it was the Spurs teammates who became the conversation of the competition.

“We tried something we think I could win,” Paul said. “To see if we had the best moment, so … it was fun.”
