The 7th Open Taekwondo Open Championship of Combaxx witnessed an exciting action on Sunday, since the athletes from all over Asia competed in several weight categories.
Pakistan continued to demonstrate his domain, ensuring 2 gold, 4 silver and 8 bronze medals in male and female divisions, further strengthening his position in the championship.
In the male category of -48 kg, Ahmed Muzamil won a silver medal for Pakistan, while Qureshi Muhammad Suleman and Ansari secured bronze medals, showing Pakistan’s strong presence on the podium. Tamim Rahmani from Afghanistan took gold in this category.
The masculine division of -55 kg saw another intense battle, with Hukmuddin of Afghanistan that claimed the gold medal. Yasir Muhammad of Pakistan said Plata, while Sameer Muhammad and Akbar Sh Muhamad Muaz took home bronze medals, which adds to Pakistan’s account.
In the women’s category of -44 kg, Anwar Ayesha of Pakistan achieved a remarkable feat when gaining gold, while Habiba Umme assured Plata. Sarwary Manahil and Aslam Safia obtained bronze medals, ensuring a complete Pakistani podium end.
Pakistan continued his winning streak in the women’s category of -49 kg, where Khan Aiman secured gold, and Fatima Ghouse assured the silver. Khawakani Fatima Tuz Zahra and Khan Khadija took home bronze medals, further solidifying Pakistan’s dominance in the female taekwondo.
