Rory Mcilroy has a blunt message for people who are upset with a potential golf fusion PGA Tour-Liv: “Suppose it.”
Mcilroy, 35, said that those who rejected LIV exorbitant offers to remain loyal to the PGA tour should welcome a reunified sport.
“I think everyone has to overcome it, and we all have to say: ‘Ok, this is the starting point and we move forward.’ We don’t look behind us, we don’t look at the past,” Mcilroy said last week. “What happened has happened, and it has been unfortunate. But reunification, how we all return and move, that’s the best for everyone.

“If people are mole, or have their feelings injured because the boys were or whatever, like who cares? We move together and try to make this work again and do the best for the game.”
Mcilroy was one of the most, if not LIV’s most frank criticism among PGA Tour players.
Mcilroy said Liv has ultimately benefited all of them, since the bags to win PGA events have increased. Mcilroy cited the invitational genesis as an example, since the Ludvig Aberg bag took home it was $ 4 million, and the general bag was $ 20 million.
“That would never have happened if Liv hadn’t come,” Mcilroy said.
Trump ‘is not a fan’ of the LIV format, on the ‘side’ of the discussions of PGA Tour, says Rory Mcilroy

Adam Scott, a member of the PGA Tour Board, understands if people would be upset by reunification.
“I would not be surprised, or would not judge anyone, the members, if the reunification occurred and were not happy with how it happened,” Scott said.
“I would not keep it against anyone if there were united negative emotions, the idea that the players return.”

Scott was part of a group that met with President Donald Trump about a possible reunification, since the PGA Commissioner Jay Monahan, asked Trump to get involved.
“It has not been something easy to solve, otherwise we would have resolved it, I think,” said Monahan.
For every time it is resolved, Mcilroy’s message will sound strong and clear for those annoying.
