Lisa Leslie, three times MVP of the WNBA, directed some forceful tips in Angel Reese during a recent sitting with the Chicago Sky Forward.
Leslie joined Reese for the latest edition of the “Unpologetically Angel” podcast. At a time during the conversation, the WNBA legend answered a question about which part of the 2024 All-Star game could improve the second season.

“The biggest advice I have for you will be how you shoot your trays, point. Let’s solve that. That is repairable for you,” Leslie replied.
The two -time WNBA champion pointed out some of Reese’s strengths when it is in the hard wood.

“I think your shot from the outside is improving. I love that your ball handling is good, your defense is improving. I love the fact that you had so much pressure on them defensive. And the idea you want to get better.
Leslie continued praising Reese’s will to put at work, which she believes that it will ultimately allow the star of the sky to reach its maximum potential.
“Listen to you, and I like it … yes ‘I want to learn. I want to work hard. I want to be better,’ my heart melted.” Leslie added. “The fact that you already have that attitude, you will improve. And I can help you improve. I am positive.”

Reese delivered a memorable season of the WNBA WNBA, while brokeing numerous league records. The former highlight of LSU finished 15 consecutive games with a double double, marking the longest gaming streak that a player achieved the feat in the history of the League.
Reese’s scoring efficiency in painting was under scrutiny, with the sky forward doing 42.2% of its tray attempts last season.

Reese averaged 13.6 points, 13.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game in 2024. Its general percentage of field goal was 39.1% last season.
The Sky finished the 2024 campaign with a record of 13-27 and could not qualify for the postseason of the WNBA. The franchise separated from Teresa Weatherspoon, and then appointed Tyler Marsh as the next team chief coach.
In a clip published on the Instagram of his podcast, Reese said that Weatherspoon’s dismissal left her “disconsolate.”
