The government is aimed at $ 60b exports in five years


Islamabad:

The Minister of Finance, Muhammad Aurengzeb, said Tuesday that the Government has established the objective of doubling exports from $ 30 billion to $ 60 billion in the next three to five years.

In an interview with Bloomberg, the Minister of Finance highlighted economic progress in the last 12 to 14 months, saying that the Government has taken crucial measures to stop inflation and reduce interest rates.

He said that currency reserves have stabilized, adding that privatization efforts will accelerate to improve efficiency in state companies (SOE).
