Islamabad:
The president of the Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, held a substantive bilateral meeting with the parliamentary delegation of Bahrein headed by Ali Bin Saleh al Saleh, president of the Shura Council of Bahrein.
Gilani, leading a parliamentary delegation that includes members of the Senate and National Assembly, is in Baku to attend the 15th Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA).
Apart from the APA, the meeting underlined the historical, fraternal, cultural and religious links of deeply rooted, with both sides reaffirming its commitment to further raise bilateral cooperation.
