The Pittsburgh Steelers are on the market for a field marshal this low season as questions remain about whether the team will end up bringing Russell Wilson, Justin Fields or signing someone new.

First he started with the rumors of the team that called the Jacksonville Jaguars asking about the availability of Trevor Lawrence. Pro Football Talk later informed that any call was never made, and Lawrence himself rejected rumors in an interview in “Up & Adams.”
Then, it was rumored that the Steelers were interested in Daniel Jones. Andrew Fillipponi, a radio presenter for 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh, wrote in X there was “interest within the Steelers organization” in Jones. He wrote that he believed he would prosper in the offensive of the offensive coordinator Arthur Smith.

Steelers fans did not take the informed interest lightly and expressed frustrations in social networks.
Jones was a first round of New York giants in 2019. He played with Eli Manning for some games during his rookie season before taking full time.
He was with the giants for about six seasons, guiding the team to an appearance in the playoffs and a postseason victory. New York cut it in the mid -2024 season, and then signed with the Minnesota Vikings.
