Crypto Market Maker Wintermute to open the New York Office, expand in the US: Bloomberg

Wintermute, one of the largest liquidity suppliers in the cryptocurrency market, is expanding to the United States with the opening of a new office in New York and the introduction of commercial free sales products (OTC) in the country.

Wintermute has plans for an “new additional approach in the United States,” said Evgeny Gaevoy CEO to Bloomberg during the Hong Kong 2025 consensus.

“We are looking to expand in the US. With our OTC offer, and we are looking to expand in the United States with supply derivatives on the OTC side,” Gaevoy said.

The company, which has offices in London and Singapore and uses more than 100 people, is being driven by optimism about possible regulatory changes in the United States under the administration of President Donald Trump.

He is not alone. Other cryptographic companies that now consider the expansion of the United States or sales of shares to the public include blockchain.com, Circle, Kraken, Gemini Ripple and Bitgo. It is also said that Bullish Global, Coendesk’s father, is considering an opi.

The New York office will open at the end of this year, with an initial team between five and 10 employees. Gaevoy said Wintermute will not carry out commercial activities from the new office.
