Islamabad:
The PMD warned of strong snowfall that can cause road closures and slippery conditions in mountainous areas from the night of February 19 to the morning of February 21.
The snowfall is expected in Murree, Galliyat, Naran, Kaghan, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Shangla, Astore, Hunza, Skardu, Neelum Valley, Bagh, Poonch and Haveli.
The PMD has indicated the possibility of landslides and avalanches in mountainous areas of KP, GB, Kashmir, Murree and Galliyat during this period.
Tourists have been advised to remain more cautious and avoid unnecessary trips.
