Parachinar: The authorities have issued evacuation notices for residents of four villages in Lower Kurram due to the growing security concerns in the region.

In a related effort, six Lower Kurram families were transferred to Hagu on Tuesday, temporarily remaining with relatives as tensions increase. The authorities indicated that once the villages are unemployed, search operations will begin in the area to improve security.
This development occurs in the midst of a worrying increase in violence in the region, with agencies for the application of the law that report multiple attacks against vehicles and convoys.
Kurram has been destroyed by violence for decades, but more than 150 people have been killed in a new round of fighting that began in November last year when two separate convoys traveling under the police escort were ambushed, leaving 40 people dead
The prolonged road closures and the complete suspension of the movement to and from Kurram due to the riots had cut the district of the outside world, which caused a serious shortage of food and medicine, which, according to the reports, resulted in additional deaths.
The conflicting parties finally agreed to a high heat under a peace pact and military negotiation, which requires the surrender of all weapons and the elimination of bunkers in accordance with the orders of the KP Apex Committee.
However, despite the peace agreement, there have been repeated attacks against convoys and vehicles, including an objective attack against the attached commission Javedullah Mehsud and the assistant commissioner Saeed Manan Boshehra.
Earlier this week, a convoy was ambushed, which resulted in the death of five security personnel and four drivers, while another 20, including five security officers and five drivers, suffered injuries.
In addition, 36 trucks were looted and 19 were burned during the attack, according to the police.
Last month, the terrorists ambushed a 35 -vehicle convoy ready to replenish local merchants in the disturbing territory with rice, flour, cooking oil and essential medicine, which claimed the lives of at least 8 people, including security personnel , drivers and civilians. The action of retaliation for security forces resulted in the murder of six assailants.
The authorities are now intensifying security measures to stop greater violence in the problematic region.
