President Donald Trump will not be in the Championship of confrontation of the 4 nations between the United States and Canada team on Thursday, but gave the Americans a phone call in advance.

The general manager of the US team, Bill Guerin, said Trump withdrew a state reference 51 to the team.
“But I would try to concentrate on the message I was giving us,” Guerin said. “I have said it before: we are here to play hockey. This is not a political forum. This is a hockey tournament. And he is just trying to support the best way he could, and we appreciate it.”
Guerin added: “He was very supportive and only said: ‘Hey, you will do it very well. It will be a great game. Relax and play.”
“He is the president of the United States,” added Brock Faber defense. “When you are a child, you never think it will be a possibility. It was really great.”
