Government working on the deregulation of poly prices


Islamabad:

Petroleum Minister Musaddik Malik said Thursday that the Government was introducing reforms in the energy sector, including the deregulation of the prices of the oil product and the elimination of all unnecessary regulations.

Going to a ceremony in the Petroleum and Gas Development Company Limited that benefited the public.

“All unnecessary laws, unnecessary regulations are being abolished. Only the most essential will be maintained, everything else will be abolished,” said Malik. “We are working on the deregulation of oil products prices,” he added.

The minister said the government was introducing important changes in the energy sector and in this sense, the prime minister had given clear instructions. “The country is changing, now we will depend on internal resources.
