Jessica Simpson is spilling beans in her life until now after moving to Nashville to work in new music.
The 44 -year -old singer recalled about music and motherhood in her 40 years along with her sister Ashlee Ross in a joint interview with The cut.
Simpson said a silver lining to move to Nashville was that there was no “paparazzi” unlike Los Angeles.
“He was literally making somersaults through Walmart’s halls,” he told the publication.
She talked about simple joys how to navigate in a CVS and say: “Look all these new petroleum jellys!”
Simpson added that when it comes to his love for being able to walk casually or Cartwheel, in public places, there is no shame. “I am your American girl when it comes to that,” he said. “That’s safe.”
Ross also noticed his sister’s obsession with the supermarket steps and the brightest side.
“I always love going to your closet or your bathroom. It is, as, 500 million products. My children love nothing but go to your pantry because you have all the treats on the planet. You really love that CVS, Walmart, whatever. “
Simpson is Maxwell’s mother, 12, Ace, 11, and Birdie, 5, all of which shares with her husband Eric Johnson.
The musician also reported on his creative process when making music.
“When I arrived at Nashville to write my new album last year, I heard Cece Winans over and over again.I pay everything. His version still gives me chills, ”he shared in the interview.
Simpson explained how his process “retroceding and making a music list” began that deeply resonated with her instead of trying to create “a small song that would be a success.”
Meanwhile, Ross called the new musical direction of his sister “American, Rockabilly, timeless, of the old school, classical vibrates.”
Simpson agreed, he added: “It’s about the instruments, not the computer. It is about the simplicity of history. “
The news of the new music emerged after Simpson and his former NFL 45 -year -old husband, separated after 10 years of marriage in January 2025.
