The United Arab Emirates (EAU) have announced changes in their visa policy, including a mandatory online application process for all types of visas and a new processing rate.
According to a spokesman for the EAU embassy, the visa rate is set at $ 69 per person, and applicants must submit their visa requests through an online portal, Express News reported.
After the presentation, the applicants will receive a notification and must submit the required documents, including a bank extract that shows a minimum balance of $ 5,000 or an equivalent amount.
In addition, applicants must provide hotel test or accommodation arrangements, as well as a confolution ticket confirmed when sending their application at the embassy.
A passport is also required with a minimum validity of six months, and the visa rate must be paid in a designated bank account of Al-Falah.
New guidelines for children visas have also been introduced.
Children under 5 are not obliged to visit the Visas Center, while those aged 6 to 15 will have their photograph in the center.
Children 15 years or older should visit the center in person.
The biometric verification and visa processing will be completed in the visa center, according to the embassy spokesman.
This updated policy aims to optimize the visa application process and guarantee better security through biometric verifications.
