Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehabz Sharif will carry out an official two -day visit to Azerbaijan from February 24 to 25 at the invitation of President Ilham Aliyev, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

According to the statement issued on Saturday, this will be the second visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz to Azerbaijan since he assumed the position in March 2024.

It will be accompanied by a high -level delegation that includes the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Ishaq Dar and other key members of the Cabinet, reflecting Pakistan’s strong commitment to deepen his commitment to Azerbaijan.

During the visit, the two parties will participate in high -range discussions over areas of mutual interest to further strengthen bilateral cooperation, particularly in energy, commerce, defense, education and climatic sectors.

During the visit, the two parties are expected to sign several MOUs and agreements in multiple areas of cooperation.

The Prime Minister is also expected to pronounce an opening speech during a business forum organized in collaboration with the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Azpromo).

During the visit, the Prime Minister, together with the president of Azerbaijan, will also visit Fuzuli (Karabakh) as part of a special visit to the liberated territories of Karabakh.

Earlier, The news Citing the senior officials reported that both countries sign the agreement on the establishment of an international commercial company in Singapore as a joint business between Pakistan state oil (PSO) and the state oil company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Socar ).

The federal cabinet has already ratified the decision to approve the establishment of this company. This will be the first company to be created by PSO in Singapore to trade LNG and other energy products. PSO will soon deposit $ 0.5 million in any bank in Singapore for the registration of your company.
